For me, followership in Jesus produces confidence in leadership. When you’re following the God whose love surpasses all knowledge, it provides the confidence to look a player in the eyes and say “follow me”, because I’m following the God who will never lead me astray, and I’m following the God who created you, created me, and created the heavens and the earth. The Lord promises He will work all things out for our good and He is never slow in keeping His promises.

When your faith is in the God of perfect love – it is hard to not be confident in asking for followership from others.

So follow me.

God knows everything about me. He knows everything about my life and he knows everyrthing about the lives’ of those who impact my life. And He loves me. And today…. that’s all I need to know.
